Mission and Vision
Our mission statement is to "desperately seek and share the gospel with the lost."
We envision:
-A 10% conversion growth rate per year within 5 years
-A 4% growth rate in the first year
(8 conversions of people from outside the church)
-Our church body as a whole praying a top ten list
-Having several new converts baptized every year
-Every church attender going through outreach training once every 3 years
-Every church attender sharing the gospel with one person with whom they have been building a relationship
Outreach Plan:
-Develop an evangelism e-mail prayer chain
-Every church ministry do at least 2 outreach events a year
-Every church attender plan and do relational evangelism
-Three Backyard Bible Clubs a year
-Three churchwide outreach events a year
-Evangelism training once a year
-Targeted Mail Outs for the Christmas and Easter Season
-Follow-up with every AWANA family outside of the church
-One outreach sermon series every year
-Develop one seeker small group per year (short-term 8 weeks)
-Train and implement pre-evangelistic Easter Egg Hunts and Block Parties
-Every sermon have at least a one-minute gospel presentation
