Missions
As part of our commitment to share the love of Jesus within our community and around the world, we support a number of overseas missionaries and local organizations through prayer, service, financial gifts, and encouragement. We also equip and send groups on short term missions trips.
Missionary Support
Here is a brief table showing our current missionaries, with a word or two about their ministry. For security reasons we have left off the name or location of most of our overseas missionaries, since they work in countries where being a known missionary could get them kicked out or worse. Please respect their security. Contact the church office if you would like more information, or take a look at the opportunities learn more about how to support these missionaries through prayer, service, financial gifts, and encouragement.

Jozef and his wife Anna, along with their two children, live and work in Nove Mesto, Slovakia. Jozef is a native of Slovakia who left under the communist regime, but returned just after the fall of communism to plant churches and win believers in his native land. God has greatly blessed their ministry and has allowed Jozef to bring the Gospel message to many in schools, businesses and even government, as well as through a growing church and a new church plant

Bob and Suzanne originally went to St. Petersburg with Co-Mission, and worked with local schools bringing an ethics curriculum with a Christian foundation to public school teachers. When the contract for Co-Mission was finished, Bob and Suzanne stayed on in Russia with the Navigators, and are now performing stratigic ministries to advance the gospel in St. Petersburg and Russia while continuing to minister to their local neighborhood through outreach and discipleship.

"Originally from El Salvador, we now work in the Campus Crusade for Christ Latin American Headquarters in Miami, Florida. We have been here six years. Our main job is to develop ministries that reach out to leaders in every major city in Latin America. We believe that by reaching political, business, military, civic and social leaders, we can accelerate the fulfillment of the Great Commission in every country."
Layo and Luchi will soon be returning to El Salvador, where Layo will be Country Director for Campus Crusade. Pray for a successful transition to their troubled homeland.

Saji Lukos, a graduate of Trinity Evangelical Divinity School, founded Reaching Indians Ministries International (RIMI) with the goal of bringing the Gospel of Jesus Christ to the unreached villages of India through raising up, equipping, and supporting native missionaries. Our church supports a native missionary in India, who is successfully reaching a village for Christ. For security reasons, our contact with the missionary is limited, but we have had several opportunities to get to know Saji and the work of RIMI.

Saji, whose U.S. offices are in Wheeling, Illinois, is married to Moni and has a daughter, Maryann, now seven years old. Pray that God would continue to protect and care for Moni and Maryann during the many months each year when Saji is in India teaching and evangelizing.

This missionary serves in a Muslim country in Africa. He is involved with a team of believers who are helping local believers to win their countrymen for Christ and to start churches. Pray for success in establishing a tent-making occupation, and for profitable contacts with believers and seekers in that country.

Local Organizations
Crisis Pregnancy Center of Southeast Houston. The CPC is an outreach to women in crisis. They provide free pregnancy tests and they share the Good News with every client, and encourage women to decide against aborting their babies. Praise God that so many people have received Christ and have chosen to save their babies. Pray that God would provide funding and volunteers for the center.
Hope for Youth. Hope for Youth works with inner city youth in Houston. They provide after school tutoring, evangelistic programs, and fun opportunities for the kids. Pray that God would help them to reach many young people with the message of the Gospel, and would help them in discipling and training.
