Christian Education

Christian education is an important ministry at Trinity Fellowship because we really want to help each other become mature disciples of Jesus, and we recognize that one key to that is learning and obeying His word. In addition, God has blessed our church with many families and many children, and we really want to provide quality educational opportunities for every one of them.

Here is a quick summary of our programs, with links to more detailed information.

Sunday School Classes, Teachers, Building Floorplans, and Teacher Schedule

Age-Integrated (Summer) Sunday School - 10:15 to 11:10 a.m. - all ages
Each year in June, July and August we do Age-Integrated Sunday School, in which all ages from pre-school to senior adults study, work and play together with the goal of learning Biblical truth at every level. See the Age-Integrated Sunday School page for info on this summer's study in Galatians 5. (PDF of 2005 Series)

Sunday School: 10:15 to 11:10 a.m. - for Nursery to High School
From September to May, Trinity runs a traditional age segregated Sunday School for children from Nursery to High School.

Adult Sunday School - 10:15 to 11:10 a.m. - for all adults
We typically have two adult Sunday School classes meeting at any given time. These classes offer practical and Biblical advice for effective Christian living. Topics include marriage, family, church issues, outreach and discipleship.

Children's Church - both services - for children from Nursery to 3rd Grade.
Children's Church provides care and teaching for children during all or part of each worship service. Nursery (0 to 2 years) is available for the full length of the service for both hours. Children's Church for two year olds to kindergarteners begins after Children's Corner during both of the worship hours (about 9:45 a.m. for the first service and about 12:00 p.m. for the second service). Children's Church is available for early elementary ages (1st to 3rd grade) during the second service most weeks. Watch the bulletin or listen to the announcements to see if they will meet on any given week.

Awana - Sunday, 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. - for children from Pre-school to Junior High
Awana is an international, non-denominational youth organization providing weekly clubs for children. Awana provides a structured and disciplined program of activities that includes games, Bible lessons, Scripture memorization, singing and awards. The goal of Awana is to reach boys and girls with the gospel of Christ and train them to serve Him."

At Trinity we sponsor the Awana program in order to provide Christ-centered teaching for our children and to reach out to other children with the Gospel of Jesus Christ. We meet on Sunday from 4:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. during the school year. We offer clubs for children from 3 years old through high school. For more information and an updated Awana calendar, visit our Awana page.

"Can Do Kids", Sunday, 11:15 a.m. to 12:25 p.m.
God has blessed us with the ability to care for the special needs children who are part of our body by providing a dedicated classroom and committed teachers to care for them during the second worship service. For details on this growing ministry, visit the "Can Do Kids" page.
